SJF Summit on the New Green Economy
![]() |
On June 2-3, 2009 business leaders, investors, policy makers, and community groups came together to be inspired and share strategies for investing in and building the new green economy with opportunities for all. After four successful annual Cleantech CEO Panels, SJF expanded our event in 2009. This event, which featured keynotes by Nicholas Parker of Cleantech Group LLC, Jeff Wolfe of groSolar, Melissa Bradley-Burns of Green For All, and Martin Eakes of Self-Help Credit Union, brought private company CEOs and investors together with government and community leaders. Participants were inspired by innovative businesses and organizations which are creating green jobs, and took away useful strategies, policies and best practices for their company, organization or region. Click here to view our flyer and here for the Summit press release.
In addition to the four keynote speakers, the event featured two Cleantech CEO panels, concurrent sessions on green job elements, and a plenary on capital markets. A strategy session on the second day provided an opportunity for participants to explore what they have learned and identify next steps. Read more about the Summit on SJF's green economy blog.
